Meet Rylee—an outgoing, funny, and fearless freshman from Field High School who just turned 15 years old! She’s one of the newest faces on the Teen Team, a team of freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who model and grow together in front of the camera. It’s more than just a modeling opportunity—it’s about bonding, confidence, and capturing the most fun, genuine moments of teen life.

For Rylee, being part of the Teen Team has already made an impact. “I feel like I’ve grown more by being more comfortable while taking the photos” she said. “I want to be on the Teen Team again because it was a great experience to do it. I love all the photo shoots and just meeting new people. I feel like it’s a very good environment to be in!” Her favorite parts? “Definitely all the pictures, bonding with everyone, and making new friends.”

A Big Personality and a Soft Heart

Rylee is the kind of person who can light up a room with her energy. “Something that makes me “me” is my personality! I have a huge personality! I’m a very outgoing person, with a very sarcastic sense of humor!” she shared, “and I’ll stand up for what’s right! Also, I am there for everyone! I tell my friends all the time they can come to me if they ever need help or are down!”

While her bold personality can sometimes be misunderstood, those who truly know Rylee see her heart. “I have a soft spot in my heart and help when people need it!” And that’s exactly what makes her special—she’s strong, confident, and full of heart all at the same time.

Family Ties and Life Lessons

Rylee credits a lot of who she is to the people who’ve raised and shaped her. “My mom has taught me to stand up for what’s right and not be afraid of what people have to say! And my grandma has taught me to be there for people when they need it!”

She also looks up to her older sister Morgan and cousin Mack, who’ve made a big impact on her. “They’ve taught me a lot in life! We have a really close relationship.”

One of their favorite traditions is something they’ve kept going year after year. “My grandma takes us to Kent and we get pictures and go to the fruit stand, then go to Target and get Starbucks, and then go back to my grandma’s for a sleepover!” It’s simple, sweet, and full of laughter—just like Rylee.

The People Who Lift Her Up

Rylee’s big heart and quick wit make her someone her friends can always count on—and she’s just as quick to give credit back to them. “All my friends know they can come to me when they need something,” she says. “My family and friends love my sarcasm—they’re used to me by now!”

She’s especially grateful for the friends who’ve made a lasting impact on her: Lauren, Myah, Leia, and Bre.

Lauren has been in Rylee’s life since elementary school, and their bond has only grown stronger over time. “She always finds the light in my dark days. I can trust her with anything.”

Myah and Rylee clicked instantly in 7th-grade math class. “We’ve been inseparable ever since—she’s always checking in on me and making sure I’m okay.”

Leia is practically family. “We’ve known each other since kindergarten and played softball together for years. She gets my humor like no one else and always knows how to lift me up.”

And Bre is a trusted teammate in both class and life. “We became friends in middle school and our personalities just clicked. She’s hilarious, loyal, and someone I can always count on.”

These friendships have helped shape who Rylee is—and she’s proud to have such a strong support system by her side.

A Love for Sports (and a Little Tough Luck)

Rylee is a dedicated multi-sport athlete, but her first love is softball. “I’ve been playing since I was little and I’ve been with the same team since coach pitch!” While that chapter closed last year as her teammates moved on to high school teams, Rylee still plays rec ball with her dad’s team and continues to bring the same passion to the field. She’s played both catcher and shortstop, stepping into whatever role her team needs most.

Beyond softball, Rylee plays basketball, track, and cross country. This past basketball season was a highlight. “I got close with so many people, especially the seniors, and it was the best season—I got a lot of playing time!”

Injuries made cross country and track more challenging this year, but Rylee’s commitment never wavered. Even though she couldn’t compete, she showed up. “I still go to every practice and meet I can—just to be there for my teammates. Even if I’m not achieving, I want to see them achieve. I’ll always be there to cheer them on.”

“What Kid Likes School, Am I Right?” — Keeping It Real with Rylee

Rylee keeps it real when it comes to school—it’s not always easy, but she’s learned a lot about perseverance and growth along the way. While academics didn’t always come naturally, she’s proud of how far she’s come and the progress she’s made.

There was a time when things felt overwhelming, from challenging classes to daily headaches that made mornings tough. But Rylee didn’t give up. She got the help she needed, stayed determined, and started focusing more in class. “Once I started turning things around, I felt so proud of myself,” she says. “Getting caught up and staying on track made such a difference.”

Now, with the school year coming to a close, she’s feeling more confident than ever. Her advice for others going through a rough patch? Keep showing up. “You’ll feel better knowing you’re getting things done. Don’t wait until the last minute—it’s so much harder to catch up than to stay on top of it.”

Summer Plans & Excitement Ahead

Now that summer is right around the corner, Rylee can’t wait for what’s next. “Camping and vacation! We have a camper up in Marblehead and go to the lake and boating all the time! Also vacation—we’re going to Outer Banks and I can’t wait!”

With her big heart and unshakable loyalty, Rylee is the kind of person you don’t forget. Whether she’s lifting up her friends, striking a pose for the Teen Team, or cheering on her teammates from the sidelines, she’s always giving it her all—and having fun while she’s at it. There’s no doubt she’s just getting started, and we can’t wait to see where her story takes her next.
