How Far In Advance Should I Book My Session?

It is never too early to call us about your senior session.  We start scheduling your class the winter of your junior year.   The calendar is open until all the dates are booked.   We recommend you get on our first call list so when my calendar opens up you get priority scheduling and first pick of those prime dates.   You can get on our first call list for your class anytime.

Where Will My Session be Shot?

If you have somewhere special that you would like your photos taken, we can go there.  If not, leave that to us. We have so many places we love to photograph. From fields in the middle of nowhere and old barns on the side of the road to city streets and graffiti walls we find locations for everyone.   If you don't have a specific location in mind, no worries.   Your senior session is designed uniquely to you. Once you return your senior questionnaire, we start planning your senior session and locations based on the answers you've provided.

How Long Will My Session Last?

Basic sessions will be will approximately 2-3 hours.   Luxe Sessions will be approximately 3-4 hours.   But there are no time limits on any of our sessions.

What Should I Bring to My Session?

We want you to look your best, so we are going to plan ahead with your outfits.   When choosing your outfits, try to vary them up in both color and in styles.   Send me pictures of what you have chosen, this helps me pick the best locations that will  compliment  each outfit.    Bring your outfits on hangers, or nicely folded so that they are not wrinkled.

Bring accessories - jewelry, bracelets, necklaces, hats, jackets, sunglasses, watch, and shoes for each outfit.  Want something from our style closet, just ask.   We may even bring a piece or two that we think willl compliment the outfits you have chosen.

If you have anything special you want to include in your session (like a letterman jacket, your car, sports equipment, musical instrument, your pet) we are happy to work these things into your session, but we need to know in advance so that we can plan for including these things.

Bring a water bottle and snack in case you get hungry during your session. 

​

Girls should bring extra make up for touch ups, a hair brush any other products they feel they might need.

What If It Rains or Is Scheduled to Rain the Week of My Session?

We know that weather is finicky and can change on a moment's notice.  Therefore, we do not reschedule a session based on a weather forecast.  Rather, we wait until the day of your session and make a determination at that time.  If the weather is certain to be inclement, we will reschedule to the soonest possible date that we have available.

What About Hair and Make-Up?

Hair and Make-Up is a very important part of what makes your pictures amazing.  Some girls get their hair done before their session and others prefer to do it themselves.  We want you to love your images, so it's up to you as to how you do your hair. If you would like to add some variety to your session, just let me know and if your hair is long, we can pull it up for a few images, or can braid it to create a different look.

Having your make-up professionally done is a great idea because having "camera ready" make up will really add to making your pictures amazing.  Many girls want a very "natural look" and a professional make-up artist will know how to give you a natural look, while still evening out your complexion.   Some sessions include makeup with our professional makeup artist, you don't have to use it, but we do highly encourage it.  

 

We recommend getting your eyebrows shaped and waxed about a week before your session.  We would also love to talk to you about lashes.   Lashes can really make your eyes pop !!!   Our makeup artist is also a professional lash tech.   She can talk to you about an eye last lift and tint, extentions, or a nice set of false lashes the day of your session.   Just ask and we will hook you up with her.

When Will I See My Senior Pictures?

A few weeks after your session you will come to our studio for your image reveal and ordering session. At this time, we will help you decide what products and/or packages you'd like.  You must have whoever is a part of the decision process present at this time. You will be expected to order and pay for your order at that time. But don't worry, we do not make you choose the images to fill your products that day. You will go home with an online gallery that contains all of the images and have time to look through them and choose your favorite images to fill your products.

Will My Photos be Edited?

Yes, all of the final images will be professionally retouched. This includes blemishes, skin smoothing and anything else we determine to be needed at no extra charge.
