Madyson, a 17-year-old junior at Field High School, is not only passionate about photography and modeling but also about building confidence and uplifting others. As a dedicated member of Davinda’s Teen Team, she has embraced the opportunity to connect with like-minded peers while fostering a positive and inclusive environment. As a returning junior, Madyson is also on the Dream Team supporting all of the newer and younger girls on their Teen Team journey.

When asked what defines her, Madyson confidently states that her dedication to the things she loves and cares about—her friends, family, and volleyball—truly makes her who she is. She believes that when she is passionate about something, she gives it her all, whether it’s in relationships or her personal pursuits.

A Passion for Volleyball

Volleyball has been a significant part of Madyson’s life for five years. She has been a varsity player since freshman year and also competes in JO (travel volleyball) as a middle hitter. The sport has been more than just a game to her—it has served as an emotional outlet, helping her relieve stress and turn bad days into better ones. Additionally, volleyball has taught her important lessons about teamwork, friendships, and life beyond the court.

Some of her favorite memories include post-game team dinners, where she and her teammates would share laughs and conversations about everything under the sun. Traveling for tournaments has also been an unforgettable experience for her, with a trip to Philadelphia standing out as a highlight. Exploring the city on foot and seeing its famous landmarks with her team created memories that she cherishes deeply.

Madyson is grateful for the unwavering support of her parents, who attend all her games, cheer her on, and encourage her every step of the way. She also finds inspiration in watching college volleyball and hopes to continue playing at the collegiate level after high school.

A Journey of Growth and Friendship

Madyson first joined the Teen Team as an underclassman, and now, as a returning junior, she is also a part of the Dream Team—a special group of experienced members who help newer members feel comfortable and involved. She remembers feeling nervous during her first photoshoot but was quickly reassured by how welcoming everyone was. The kindness and support of the team made a lasting impression on her, and she now enjoys seeing those same values reflected in uplifting Instagram posts and encouraging messages shared by team members. One of her favorite team projects involved collecting hygiene products to donate, reinforcing the strong sense of community and giving back that the Teen Team embodies.

Since becoming part of the team, Madyson has experienced significant personal growth. She has gained confidence in front of the camera and has stepped out of her comfort zone to engage with others, overcoming the shyness she once had.

Why She Chose to Return

Madyson’s experience on the Teen Team has been so impactful that she knew she had to return for another year. She is motivated by the desire to continue spreading kindness and supporting others in the same way she was supported when she first joined. Being on the team has greatly improved her mental well-being, and she loves how sharing photos can inspire confidence in others—even those who aren’t on the team. She has had friends and acquaintances express admiration for her involvement, which has also allowed her to reconnect with old friends and form new friendships. For Madyson, the Teen Team is more than just a modeling opportunity—it’s a place to create lasting memories and meaningful connections.

Academics and Future Plans

Beyond sports, Madyson is a dedicated student taking CCP (College Credit Plus) classes online through Kent State University. One of her favorite courses is Intro to Sociology, which she enjoys because it provides new perspectives on society and human behavior. She values the opportunity to take college-level classes while still in high school, as it has helped her explore different career paths and gain a better sense of what she might pursue in the future.

As a member of the National Honor Society (NHS), Madyson has also been actively involved in various projects that benefit her school and community. She takes pride in contributing to these initiatives, knowing that the skills and experiences she gains will help shape her future and make her a better person overall.

Looking ahead, Madyson is considering careers in education, business, or accounting, as she enjoys working with numbers. Though she is still undecided on where she wants to attend college, she is excited about the possibilities that lie ahead.

A Bright Future Ahead

Madyson’s journey on Davinda’s Teen Team is a testament to the power of kindness, confidence, and community. As she continues to grow and inspire those around her, there is no doubt that she will leave a lasting impact—both on the team and beyond. If you stick around, you will also get to see Madyson next year as one of Davinda's seniors!!!
