Writing this next blog honestly feels like we’re introducing a brand-new princess—the kind you just know is about to become everyone’s favorite Disney character. Meet Madyson Stelzer from Field High School! We had the absolute best time with her during her senior session—between her love of books, exploring new locations, and even navigating some questionable weather, the whole day was pure magic. We’ve had Madyson on our Teen Team, so watching her blossom and step confidently in front of our camera for her senior photos was such a joy. She came totally prepared with the most perfect outfits, gorgeous hair, and flawless makeup thanks to our girl Paige. Every detail came together beautifully, but more than that, Madyson’s personality and confidence made the shoot unforgettable. Let’s dive in and show you just how amazing this session turned out!

Strutting into Senior Year

We kicked off Madyson’s shoot at Kent State University—one of our favorite locations for its endless variety of backdrops and dreamy lighting. We started in the Fashion Building, where Madyson showed up in the cutest outfit that just so happened to match the building perfectly… and that’s when it really hit us: this session was going to be so good. The second Madyson stepped in front of the camera, she was ready—confident, glowing, and completely in her element.

A Whimsical Wonderland Moment

This next part of Madyson’s shoot had us feeling like we’d stepped straight into Alice in Wonderland after she tumbled down the rabbit hole. We stumbled upon the most enchanting little nook—it was unique, whimsical, and almost too perfect to be real. A piece of art doubled as the perfect reading spot, tucked among blooms and surrounded by nature, and it immediately felt like it was made just for her. Madyson slipped into the scene so effortlessly, like the true book-loving princess she is. With her elegance, grace, and love of stories, she floated through the space as if she belonged in her very own fairytale. Capturing her here felt magical—not just because of the beauty around her, but because it reflected the things that make Madyson her.

Once Upon a Book Wall

And then, as if the day couldn’t get any more magical, we planned to use the most incredible book wall—the perfect backdrop to continue to highlight Madyson’s love for reading. She brought along some of her favorite books, which we scattered around her to create a dreamy, personal touch that felt like she was in her own little world. The whole setup instantly reminded us of Belle in Beauty and the Beast, floating through town with a book in hand, lost in her own story. Madyson embraced it beautifully, moving with so much grace and ease, as if she truly belonged in that whimsical space. Her outfit for this part of the shoot was perfection—southern belle vibes with a little Madyson twist—and it tied the whole look together flawlessly. This set was such a special reflection of who she is and what she loves, and we couldn’t get enough of it.

When the Clouds Clear, Magic Appears

Although this portion of the shoot didn’t go quite as planned, it made for quite the adventure! Just as Madyson was surrounded by her books, a storm rolled in and sent us all gathering everything up and running to our cars. Total chaos—but Madyson handled it with such grace. She was so willing to reschedule so we could finish her final outfit, and honestly, we’re a little thankful the weather had other plans… because it gave us the chance to photograph her in the most stunning sunflower field. She absolutely glowed among the golden blooms, like she was made to be there. Storms or sunshine, Madyson’s entire session was nothing short of a fairytale.

From your time on teen team to now stepping into senior team, you’ve brought so much joy, laughter, and grace.
