Some girls are still trying to figure out who they are at sixteen…and then there’s Kristen.

Kristen Dillon is stepping into her Sweet 16 year with something so rare and so powerful—she knows exactly who she is.

And not only does she know it…she owns it.

A Teen Photographer in the Making

As a teen photographer in Northeast Ohio, I get to meet a lot of incredible girls—but Kristen stands out in the most unforgettable way.

Because she doesn’t just step in front of the camera…she understands it.

Kristen is already building her own brand behind the lens. She’s learning, creating, and hustling as a young photographer—studying light, composition, and storytelling in a way that most girls her age haven’t even begun to explore.

And one of my favorite parts?

I get to watch it up close.

She works alongside me, assisting on shoots, learning the flow of sessions, understanding the behind-the-scenes of what it really takes to build something of your own.

She’s not just dreaming about it—she’s doing it.

This year, Kristen is part of our Crowns and Gowns Sweet 16 series, and it couldn’t be a more perfect fit. Because this session isn’t just about pretty dresses and styled shoots (although yes… it’s all of that magic too).

A girl stepping into a new chapter with confidence, strength, and a sense of self that so many are still searching for.

And Kristen? She didn’t need to find that girl. She already is her.
