At just 16 years old, Keegan is making waves as a sophomore at Rootstown High School. With an unstoppable drive and a heart full of passion, she is dedicated to pushing herself in every aspect of life. She believes in hard work, setting high standards, and always striving to meet them. For Keegan, nothing is more fulfilling than achieving the goals she sets for herself. "My hard work and passion are what make me who I am," she says. "I set large goals because I feel so accomplished when I meet them."

Confidence Through the Teen Team
One of the most significant aspects of Keegan’s life is her involvement with Davinda’s Teen Team—a group of freshmen, sophomore, and junior models. The Teen Team is more than just modeling; it’s about building confidence, forming friendships, and learning how to be kind, strong young women. Through this experience, Keegan has grown immensely, not only in front of the camera but also as an individual. "Being on the Teen Team has been one of the best experiences of my life," she says. "I have met so many new people, made tons of friends, and become a role model in my district."

Staying True to Herself
When asked about what defines her, Keegan proudly says that she is unapologetically herself. "I say what I want, I speak my mind, and I make sure that I’m never putting on a face," she explains. She values honesty in her relationships and expects the same from others. She knows that not everyone will like her, but she would rather be loved for who she truly is than pretend to be someone she’s not. "I don’t water myself down for anyone. I just like to stay myself no matter what."

A Strong Role Model: Her Mother
Keegan attributes much of her strength and determination to her biggest role model—her mom. "She is the strongest person I know, and I don’t mean physical strength. No matter what happens, she always finds a way to fix things and make them better," Keegan shares. "She has always been my rock, pushing me to do better and see my potential. She taught me the meaning of hard work and that it’s okay if some people don’t like you, as long as you like yourself."

Cheerleading: A Journey of Leadership
Aside from modeling, Keegan is also deeply involved in cheerleading. She started in the first grade, drawn to the confidence and spirit of cheerleaders. Over the years, she has cheered at various levels, from youth programs to middle school and now high school varsity. "I just made varsity for my junior year again next year!" she says proudly.
Cheerleading has not only given her incredible memories, like taking pictures in her grandparents’ living room every year in her new uniform or winning the Super Bowl on a rainy Halloween night, but has also helped her develop leadership skills. "I’ve become comfortable taking charge in unfamiliar areas," she says. "Whether I’m leading a pep rally, performing at games, or even coaching youth cheer, I make sure to be myself. That’s the most authentic version of me, and I’m comfortable with that now."
Her leadership even earned her the opportunity to co-lead a seminar on suicide prevention and bullying awareness, a cause she is passionate about. "Being selected as one of 10 students to run this seminar is such an honor," she says. "It’s something I truly care about."

Academics and Favorite Subjects
Academically, Keegan enjoys the structure of math, appreciating how there is always a solution to find. "My biggest unpopular opinion is that my favorite class is math," she laughs. "Numbers have always made sense to me."
She is also a member of the choir, where she finds joy in singing alongside others who share her passion. "Choir is such an amazing class. The teachers are so understanding and helpful, which makes it so much more enjoyable." Her favorite teacher, an eighth-grade science instructor at Biomed, inspired her to pursue nursing—a career where she hopes to help others just as she was once inspired.
English has always been a challenge for Keegan, particularly when it comes to writing essays and short stories. "It’s not the language part, but writing just doesn’t come naturally to me. I’m not the most creative when it comes to stories, and I usually get bored," she admits. While she enjoys reading books of her own choosing, required reading often feels like a chore. Despite this, she continues to push herself academically, knowing that perseverance is key.

Future Goals and Aspirations
Looking ahead, Keegan dreams of becoming a travel nurse in the NICU, a path influenced by her personal experiences. "My little cousin was born prematurely and stayed in the NICU for some time," she explains. "The nurses there really saved his life, and I would love to be able to do the same for other families."
Additionally, she has a strong desire to travel, with Italy being at the top of her list. "I think Italy is a beautiful country, and I would love to sightsee and eat the food!"
As for cheerleading, she is still undecided about continuing in college. "It’s definitely been on my mind as next year is quickly approaching."

A Wish for a Better World
If Keegan had one wish, it would be for every child to grow up in a loving and stable home. "I know how important it is for children to be raised in a healthy home," she says. "Not every child gets that, and they all deserve it."

The Impact of the Teen Team
Reflecting on her time with the Teen Team, Keegan feels immense gratitude for the experience. "I sometimes get recognized and told that people love what I’m doing. Hearing that from parents and young girls is so rewarding," she says. "I feel like a role model for them, and I’m so grateful to have this opportunity. Thank you so much, Lily and Davinda!"
Keegan’s journey is just beginning, and with her determination, authenticity, and passion, there is no doubt that she will continue to inspire those around her.
