Kailie holds such a special place in our hearts because we’ve had the joy of photographing her since she was just a freshman. Back then, Kailie was a little shy and quiet, barely saying a few words to us. Fast forward to now—we have had the privilege of witnessing a beautiful transformation. Kailie is someone who radiates confidence and welcomes everyone with open arms. One of our favorite things about her is how she’s not afraid to be herself—whether that’s flashing a peace sign, sticking out her tongue, or just being a little silly. Her senior session was the perfect reflection of who she’s become: a young woman full of joy, confidence, and personality, surrounded by the things she loves. From her pretty outfits to the playful moments, every detail of this shoot showed off the best version of Kailie!

A Senior Session in Her Key

Music has always been her safe place—the therapy, the escape, the release when life gets heavy—and we loved bringing that part of her heart to life. We designed the entire set just for her, and when she showed up with her own record player and a stack of favorite albums, it didn’t feel like we were just taking photos—it felt like we were catching her in her element. Every frame felt like a song only she could sing.

Metaphorically and Visually Speaking, Kailie is Fearless in the Storm

Kailie’s session took place both in our studio and out on location, with most of the magic happening outdoors, but getting to that point was a little adventure of its own that had us all wondering if we’d be able to pull the shoot off at all. A torrential downpour, tornado warnings—yet there she was smiling, dancing, owning the moment. In the words of Taylor Swift: “And I don’t know why, but with you I’d dance in a storm in my best dress, fearless…” That’s exactly what she did and it was truly fearless.

From the studio to several on location sites and even splashing around in a pretty fountain (so much fun!), every stop gave us a fresh backdrop to match her different outfits and personality. We love being able to mix it up like this because it creates such a variety of images—each one unique, personal, and true to her. With us, senior photos are never a one-stop shop; they’re a full experience. From professional makeup, outfit changes, and multiple locations, to singing, dancing, making TikToks, and even playing the mom match game, we’re here to make sure your session feels just as fun and memorable as the photos themselves.

Never Too Late to Be Brand New

As Taylor Swift says in Innocent, “Today is never too late to be brand new.” And truly, that feels like it was written for Kailie. Over the years, we’ve been lucky enough to watch her unfold into herself—gaining confidence, finding her voice, and letting her light reach further than it ever has.

High school can be heavy, but she refused to let the hard moments define her. Instead of shrinking, she learned to stand taller. Instead of dimming, she chose to shine brighter. She’s the girl who cheers others on, shows up with kindness, and makes space for everyone—even when others didn’t always make space for her.

From our Teen Team to our Senior Team, we’ve gotten to watch Kailie step into new friendships, new opportunities, and new levels of self-love with so much grace and courage.
