We had the absolute pleasure of spending a day with the beautiful Kaelyn Tasker, a senior from James A. Garfield High School. Kaelyn wasn’t a stranger to us—we photographed her sister a few years ago, so we knew we were in for a fun and memorable shoot! It was such a treat to see her sister again, too, as she tagged along to cheer Kaelyn on. We always love when past clients—whether siblings, cousins, or friends—come back to be part of the experience. It’s the biggest compliment to know you enjoyed your time with us enough to return or share us with someone special!

At one point during the shoot, we may have convinced Kaelyn and her sister to tap into their inner childhood and pretend they were little girls again—arms out, flying around like airplanes. It was such a sweet and playful moment that brought out genuine smiles and laughter. The spirit of sisterly fun was definitely there. It felt like a beautiful recreation of two little girls just playing in the yard, and it made for some truly adorable and joyful photos. Moments like these are what make senior sessions so special!

Summer Senior Session with Sunshine, Smiles, and Style

Despite the sweltering heat, Kaelyn absolutely crushed her senior session without even breaking a sweat—literally! You’d never guess it was one of the hottest days of the season because she stayed cool, calm, and effortlessly radiant the entire time. She radianted pure euphoria, laughing through every pose and making it all look so easy. Her positive attitude and genuine smile made the day not only bearable but truly fun, reminding us why we love what we do—even on the hottest of days!

Senior Photos at the Women’s Garden in Warren, Ohio

Kaelyn’s session took us to the charming Women’s Garden in Warren, Ohio—a hidden gem that gave us so much variety to work with! We took full advantage of a shaded, picturesque porch, the vibrant selection of flowers in bloom, a peaceful little creek, and the most beautiful bridge that added a touch of magic to her portraits. Honestly, we could have placed Kaelyn in a simple field of trees and her photos still would’ve turned out stunning, but having these extra elements really elevated the whole experience. One of the funniest moments came when we opened a mailbox for a creative shot and found—of all things—a random winter hat inside! It had us all laughing, and of course, we swapped it out for some fresh blooms to keep the photo on theme. Even in the intense summer heat, the day was filled with laughter, creativity, and so much fun!

Dreamy Water Shots + Fashion Moments During Kaelyn’s Senior Session

Next, we headed to the beautiful fountain in downtown Warren, which served as the perfect backdrop for some dreamy water shots—especially with Kaelyn in her stunning floral dress! She brought out her inner model with a fierce and flawless walk in front of the fountain, and we were seriously impressed. During this part of the session, we also had a blast playing our favorite little game: the “Mom Match Game.” We ask mom three fun, random questions about her senior, then bring the senior back in to see how well their answers match. Let’s just say Kaelyn and her mom had us laughing nonstop with their responses! It’s always such a fun way to add a personal touch and create lasting memories for both the seniors and their families. And now Kaelyn’s whole family knows she wants a duck if she could have any animal companion in the world. 😂
