Over the years, I've had the privilege of capturing fun memories with my teen team, I've seen firsthand how a simple smile, or a genuine pep talk can transform not just a photo, but an entire moment! I'm sure we're all familiar with the saying "confidence is key," and while it is true, there are times when maintaining confidence can be difficult. Which is where my hype girls come in!!
In this blog, we will be showcasing my teen team's biggest hype girls. Although, ALL the girls on my teen team go out of their way to be kind and spread positivity, without even knowing it there are three girls that continually stand out to me. Elizabeth Adkins, Kailie Thompson, and Kelsey Dillon. These three are ALWAYS there for the other girls, giving them encouragement, sending positive messages, and hyping them up any chance they get!!!
Liz is such a fun person to be around, in and out of photoshoots! She always makes sure to include and encourage her teammates, "I think it's important to hype up other girls during shoots because you want them to feel beautiful and confident about themselves." - Liz Adkins.
Hyping the girls up doesn't just stop at the photoshoots, you see it everywhere! Liz said, "I've had other members of the team hyping me up during and outside shoots, like commenting on my posts and reposting them."
Kindness and positivity have a snowball effect, it only takes a small act to make a change in a person's life. Kailie has that effect on people! "I think it's important to hype up others because it can make someone's day 10 times better than it was before, you never know what someone is going through." - Kailie Thompson.
Sharing personal experience is a common way for people to make connections and to help put someone at ease in a stressful situation. Kailie helps so many people around her in this way. Kailie said, "I help people who are scared about the photoshoots by telling them how much fun they are. I tell them how much being on the teen team has helped me with my confidence and stepping out of my comfort zone!"
I saw a quote that really shows what we at the teen team are promoting: "No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted" - Unknown.
Kindness and positivity are valued so much more than we think it is, and my girl Kelsey promotes positivity wherever she goes! She always has something sweet to say to you and will make your day brighter with her personality. Kelsey goes the extra mile to make sure people feel valued and that is such an admirable quality to have!!
Being the positive influence in whatever environment you are in is so valuable, you can be the difference that makes someone's day a bit brighter. Maybe even get the ball rolling with a chain of random acts of kindness!! Hype girls do so much more than just give compliments, they give confidence, a safe space, and a new friend. It always brings me such joy seeing my girls be there for one another and I wanted to take an extra step to let them know that their kindness does not go unnoticed because hype girls need hyped up too!
