What the Teen Team Is All About

The Teen Team is more than just a group of girls who model for Capture Life Photography by Davinda—it’s a sisterhood built on kindness, creativity, confidence, and connection. Each girl who joins the team becomes part of a community that uplifts one another, encourages self-expression, and celebrates the journey of growing up. From behind-the-scenes friendships to in-front-of-the-camera memories, the Teen Team is all about helping girls feel seen, valued, and confident—inside and out.

Introducing the Dream Team

Our returning juniors are stepping into a brand-new role this year—say hello to our Dream Team! These amazing girls aren’t just returning members; they’re leaders in kindness, positivity, and mentorship. Each Dream Team girl has taken on a specific job this year to help guide the team, lead by example, and contribute to our upcoming blog posts. They’ll also be writing their own entries throughout the season, so keep your eyes out!

Our Dream Team girls are: Paisley, Keegan, Laila, Ellie, Siena, Mack, Mia, and Sadie

The First Shoot: “The Bow Hello”

To kick off the season, we hosted our very first group shoot titled “The Bow Hello”—and it was absolutely everything we hoped for! The theme? Pink, white, and bows. The girls showed up in their cutest pink tops, dresses, jumpsuits, jean shorts, bringing so much and BOWS personality to the shoot.

It didn’t take long before laughter, inside jokes, and friendships began to blossom. The girls spent the first couple of hours outside, shooting at the CLP mural, filming TikToks, and simply getting to know each other.

After moving inside for lunch and more bonding time, Davinda shared an exciting announcement: our brand new Big Sisters project! Each Dream Team girl will now take one or more younger team members under her wing as a mentor and friend. The littles have already started guessing who their big sisters are, even asking Davinda and Teen Team Assistant Lily questions in hopes of cracking the code! Big Sister Reveal happens in August, and we can hardly wait.

Laila and Keegan even started a fun guessing game during the shoot—one girl would leave the room, and the rest would pick a “mystery person.” When the girl returned, she was given clues like school, hobbies, or favorite snacks to guess who it was. The game gave everyone a chance to laugh, learn more about each other, and build new connections.

Creative Touches & Sweet Moments

Inside the studio, the creativity didn’t stop. Davinda snapped more photos in front of a stunning balloon and arch display (designed by her friend, Ally Noland). Another favorite part? The trucker hat bar! Each girl got to decorate her own trucker hat with fun patches and personal touches, creating something they could take home to remember the day.
