CAPTURING AVA: Full throttle into the Class of 2026

We’re kicking off our Class of 2026 senior season with Ava Miller from Bio-Med Science Academy — and what a way to start! Ava’s session was truly one-of-a-kind, not only because we explored a brand new location, but also because we stepped way outside our comfort zone to photograph her alongside her drag racing car. Talk about fierce! This shoot gave us a glimpse into Ava’s world, and we absolutely loved every second of it. She brought style, grace, spunk, and confidence — all with an effortless sense of fun. We’re beyond excited to share the magic we captured and to celebrate Ava for both her beauty and the boldness she brings to the drag strip. She’s truly in a league of her own.

Effortless Elegance

Ava’s shoot was such a fun and refreshing experience for us! As we mentioned, we ventured to a brand new location — The Stone Trough in Salem, Ohio — and it absolutely did not disappoint. This gorgeous spot provided the perfect backdrop for Ava, and she truly made every corner of it shine. Whether she was posing by the rustic stone walls or tucked into the scenic spots around the property, Ava brought the space to life with ease. Not to mention, it was a hot day, but you’d never know it — she handled the heat like a pro, making the entire shoot look effortless. Her grace, energy, and stunning presence made this session unforgettable.

Bright Light, Big Heart

One of the things we adored most about Ava was her radiant smile — it truly never left her face! She spent the entire shoot giggling, laughing, and just soaking in the moment, which is exactly the kind of energy we love to capture. Her joy was contagious and made the entire experience even more fun for us.

Fun Fact: We actually know Ava’s aunt, which added an extra layer of comfort and connection that made the shoot feel even more relaxed and special.

Racing Roots Our next stop with Ava was her second home — Quaker City Motorsports Park — and wow, what an experience! This part of the shoot gave us a chance to fully step into Ava’s world and get a firsthand look at what drag racing is all about. We were beyond excited to capture something so unique, and Ava lit up showing us what she truly loves. Drag racing runs deep in her family: she grew up watching her grandpa and dad tear up the track, followed by her brother — and eventually, Ava knew she had to try it for herself. Now, it’s a passion she fully owns. One of the most special moments of the shoot was photographing Ava with her dad’s car, which was actually passed down from her grandpa. We even learned that one day, this very car will be Ava’s when the time is right — how incredible is that? It was such a privilege to witness this family tradition and see Ava confidently carrying it forward.

Fueled by Passion

One of the most exciting and memorable parts of the shoot was getting an up-close look into the world of drag racing! We had the amazing opportunity to step right onto the dragstrip, fully immersing ourselves in the sights, sounds, and energy of the racing scene. It was a completely new experience for us, which made it all the more special. Watching Ava’s grandpa lovingly help her prepare for a run was such a heartwarming moment—it was clear how much pride and support surrounded her passion. She even suited up in her full racing gear, helmet and all, which brought a whole new level of authenticity and excitement to this portion of the shoot. Capturing her in her element, with the roar of the track in the background, felt like freezing a powerful moment in time. It truly made this part of the session unforgettable!
