Meet Porter Smith from Rootstown High School. Porter radiates a fun and bubbly personality, finding joy in the company of friends and the companionship of animals. Engaged in various activities within her school, church, and multiple sports, Porter's vibrant and outgoing nature makes her a magnet for new connections and friendships.
Porter's fondest high school memory revolves around her extensive involvement in sports, so naturally so did her senior portrait session. Over her four years at Rootstown, she has passionately participated in soccer, basketball, track, and the brand new wrestling program. Her dedication has led to numerous achievements, including contributing to several PTC titles, district titles, and individual events. However, the highlight of her high school sports journey was the unforgettable experience of traveling to Greensboro, North Carolina, with three teammates. Together, they achieved the remarkable feat of becoming All-Americans in the shuttle hurdle relay, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime. Right now Porter is gearing up for the upcoming track season. Track holds a special place in her heart, and after a year of anticipation building up to her senior season we can't wait to see what records our athletic girl is about to set.
Porter plans to attend University of Walsh and to do Track and Field there.
Porter's warm and welcoming nature makes her a natural conversationalist, perfectly suited for our senior influencer team. Her ability to strike up a conversation with anyone has not only enriched our team but also forged strong friendships among the girls. It has been especially heartwarming to us to see that one of the girls from a different school has become one of Porter's best friends.
